Nigeria saw the unveiling of a solar project in the Onono-Anam community in the Anambra state funded by Nigeria’s Bank of Industry (BOI). The mini-grid development of 24 KW will ensure the entire community with access to solar power.
The project was executed in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The bank and the UNDP plan additional projects in other communities of the Anambra, Edo, and Kaduna states.
