The oil and gas news source said the workscope for the tender includes the provision of personnel for concept selection studies, conception definition studies, front-end engineering and design, detailed engineering, inspection services, construction, installation, commissioning supervision and management.
Another element of the workscope calls on the successful contractor to be: “Fully responsible for timely payment of personnel wages, allowances and all entitlements as applicable in the industry and offshore locations as contained in a tripartite collective bargaining agreement between the staff union, the employee union and the company”.
Nigeria Agip Oil Company [NAOC] is in a joint venture 20% stake, with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation [NNPC] 60% stake, and Oando 20% stake, covering swamp production concessions in Niger Delta states of Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and Rivers. The concessions – OMLs 60, 61, 62 and 63 – cover a total area of 5313 square kilometres.
NAOC also operates two exploration leases – OPL 282 in the swamp and onshore OPL 135. It has a 5% stake in a joint venture with NNPC on 55%, Shell on 30% and Total with 10%.
