As part of its effort to boost power supply in the country, the management of Niger Delta Power Holding Company has commissioned two injection substations of 30MVA capacity to boost electricity supply to Lagos residents.

The Managing Director of NDPHC, Mr Chiedu Ugbo, while inaugurating the project in Lagos on Tuesday, said the two 15 MVA power injection substations would boost electricity supply to customers within Ikeja Disco and its environs.

The NDPHC boss said that as part of the company’s effort to boost power supply in the country, the company has on Tuesday lit up the areas of Amikanle and Abule Taylor under Alimosho LGA with 1/15 MVA transformers each to supply from Ayobo transmission station through a dedicated 22.5 Km for effective supply.

He said the project was constructed by the Niger Delta Power Holding Company under the National Integrated Power Project of the Federal Government.
