Ikeja Electric, Nigeria’s largest electricity distribution network has recently commissioned additional feeders within her Ikorodu network in demonstration of her commitment and dedication to excellent service delivery. The additional feeders are for Bayeku feeder at Igbogbo Injection Substation and Ladega 11KV feeder at Sabo Injection Substation.

These feeders are expected to stabilize electricity supply and largely reduce loadshedding being experienced by residents of Macaulay, Fashola Estate, Ilado, Agufoye, Jaiyesinmi, Oriwu, Elepe, Iwajowa, Harmony, Borokini, Baiyeku and Agbeni, areas of Ikorodu. Bayeku and Ladega 11KV feeders were both previously overloaded and experiencing frequent tripping, as a result of excess load, especially during peak periods.

A resident of the area, Mrs. Junaid commended the pace at which the work was completed, noting that the immediate impact of the project on the Communities is impressive. Ikeja Electric has assured her customers of her unwavering commitment to excellent service delivery and urged them to continue to support the initiatives the company intends to implement by paying their bills regularly and promptly.
